A lazy Sunday at Woody Head, New South Wales, Australia

It was another stunning, but quiet day at Woody Head. Everything seems to move on slo-mo, it was a Sunday after all. Almost no wind on an un-swelled ocean meant that even the fish seem to have a rest. Nothing hit my lines, which I didn’t mind. It is just nice being out there watching turtles and dolphins cruising by.

Some jillies and joeys grazed close together, even though the joeys were too big to crouch in the pouch. Mom is most likely developing the next generation. Even the normally more active youngsters weren’t up to much mischief.

This can’t be comfortable for either side. Mom needed a rest, hopping with all that extra weight took its toll.

She rolled on the grass thinking ‘ it is Sunday after all’! A nice little stretch here and there is most welcoming.
