‘There’s a place I go for breakfast every afternoon,
The seeds are sometimes soggy, but I hardly notice.
This relationship is built on breakfast,
I am waiting on the birds, just to wait on them.’

Kyle is happily humming this tune whilst hanging in there. ‘It’s a great song’ he says ‘and makes perfect sense for this establishment.’

It’s all about fine dining in a relaxed environment.

This is a small eatery, just the right size for an ambient dinner for two. Or even three.

Look around, the 360 degrees view is simply outstanding.

Grassy, open plains to the north.

And the eucalyptus forest out west, which expands all the way up to the Great Dividing Range.

Creatures of all comforts venture to our Eco-environment and look gorgeous as always.

There is as much happening at ground level as it is on the first floor.

Customers don’t need to change seeds as this chandelier is revolving round and around.

Decorated with seasonal flowers, it doesn’t get much better than this. Where else do you get a lavish experience like this?

Owner, manager, and maitre de par excellence, Kyle, has only recently opened his fine dining experience here at Middle Earth. Healthy and hearty snacks are on offer for his feathered friends.

Breakfast usually serves a muesli mix, which is very popular with all guests.

Seasonal fruits are often added, it’s a great start to the day.

Pierre and Sally have only recently become guests, now they are regulars.

Lunchtime is usually quiet due to the heat factor. We have a Mexican siesta at our midday lunch buffet.

The evening is my favorite kinda dining, Kyle says.

Once the sun settles out west and casts its last rays through the moldy tree, guests return to our diner.

We mostly get couples here that just want to get away from the daily grind.

Birds are caring and devoted parents and do anything to keep their offspring safe and healthy.

But once the youngsters are weened and ready to flee the nest, couples come here for some tranquility.

There’s nothing like a nice quiet evening with splendid views.

The afternoon sun shines warmingly over the chandelier, exposing the last sunny ray for the day. Due to fire hazards, candles are not allowed here.

Kyle has come a long way to lift his spirits on this high.

‘I started on the very bottom of the work chain and am slowly climbing Jacob’s Ladder’. In fact, he’s done pretty much any job around here.

He used to be the delivery cyclist for the nearby fast food restaurant.

Patches and myself spent hours on the bike every day.

He reminded me of some superhero.

We were a fabulous team, the two of us, yes we were.

We simply couldn’t keep up with demand, it had torn us apart in many ways.

Patches had his way with animals.

We started with one diner which was a huge success. Too prosperous one can say.

I never expected anything like this, it was crazy dynamic.

Bumper to bumper and humper to humper. Birds flocked in from all corners of the shire, all the way through the woodland forest.

There wasn’t enough room to accommodate everyone.

Consumer’s patience was tested whilst being seated in the magic tree.

The atmosphere was tense but toleratable within one flock of feathered friends.

But there are those who seek out trouble.

Once the multicolored local troop came around, trouble was never far.

I witnessed a few kaffafels and wing slaps being handed out.

It was quite amusing actually. There is no business like show business.

We had to relocate in the end due to vandalism. Almost every morning, all food was plundered, and only broken scuttlebutts were to be found.

It was heartbreaking at times to see the destruction caused. We still don’t know, who the hoodlums were.

We changed to natural and environmentally friendly receptacles.

These gave the restaurant its name, ‘Bamhh-Booo’.

The new elevated location was so successful, that we quickly opened two more bistros.

They are just as popular as the original sin.

Even pre-made seed sticks are implemented to cope with increasing customer numbers.

But that’s not me.

I am too old for this kind of stress and rather wait for a few visitors.

I pride myself on good ol’ customer service with etiquette and class.

I am glad to have been given this opportunity, this is where I feel complete.

‘There’s a place I go for breakfast every afternoon….. ‘
